Between 14–21 February 2026, Assist. Prof. Janyawat T. Vuthijumnonk, Deputy Director for Administration and Strategic Planning, participated in the IAPP program in Washington, D.C., USA, with the generous support of the Institute of International Education and the U.S. Embassy in Thailand. This international engagement focused on the development of institutional international partnership strategies, including academic networking and university visits in the United States. The program featured meetings and study visits at leading institutions, including George Mason University, American University, and James Madison University. The study visit provided valuable insights into the U.S. higher education system and highlighted meaningful connections between technical and vocational colleges like ours and the community college model in the United States. Key opportunities identified include student exchange programs, hosting cultural exchange initiatives, teaching practicum placements, pathways for advanced study and professional development for faculty and staff, and collaborative research partnerships. This experience marks an important step forward in strengthening our global engagement and expanding international opportunities for our students, faculty, and institutional development.
